BlueNest Care Recruitment Ltd was founded in Sheffield by Eric Kalongo, a care sector professional who worked as a frontline carer and witnessed first-hand the chronic staffing crisis facing homes and the hardworking carers who deserved better support. Eric Kalongo did not build BlueNest Care from a boardroom. He built it from the care home floor, drawing on his own experience as a frontline carer. BlueNest Care was founded in 2026 to address this disconnect, beginning in Sheffield, where the need was both urgent and deeply personal, and where building strong local relationships made the greatest impact.
